Grand Old Day Underway in St. Paul
The largest one-day festival in the Midwest is underway in St. Paul.
A quarter of a million people are expected on Grand Avenue today for the 39th annual Grand Old Day.
Events got started just before 8 a.m. with an 8K inline skate, and 8K run. The parade began at 10 a.m., starting at Dale and going all the way to Fairview.
The festival features 150 food vendors and four "districts" along Grand Avenue. There's a family fun district, a sporting district, an art district, and an entertainment district with live music all day long.
