A Melrose man was injured Thursday night when he fell from a paraglider he was attempting to land.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says emergency personnel responded to the crash around 9:15 p.m. along County Road 13 in Millwood Township.
Twenty-three-year-old Luke Olmscheid told authorities he was turning the paraglider when the wing folded, sending him approximately 50 feet to the ground.
He was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Melrose Hospital.
The incident remains under investigation by the sheriff's office and the Federal Aviation Administration.
