Community members can get checked for signs of dementia during National Memory Screening Day.
Throughout the week, locations around the nation will be offering screenings as part of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America event.
In the North Metro, Kmart will be offering screenings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at 1100 W. Highway 10 in Anoka. For more information, call 763-427-7699.
In Blaine, Kmart will be offering screenings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday from 8949 University Ave. N.E. For more information, call 763-786-6820.
