Six students were taken to a hospital in Spooner, Wisconsin Wednesday, to be treated for injuries suffered in the crash of a school district van. All were treated and have since been released.
In a news release, the Wisconsin State Patrol said the crash happened at 11:05 a.m. on Highway 63 in Spooner.
"A mini-van was westbound on Green Valley Road at USH 63," said State Patrol Sergeant William Daniels. "The van entered Highway 63 and was struck by a southbound pickup truck."
Daniels said the van is owned by Spooner Area Schools and was being driven by a teacher. Neither the teacher nor the driver of the pickup was injured.
