St. Paul Boy Drowns in Pool at Country Club in Hopkins
A 6-year-old St. Paul boy drowned in a pool at Oak Ridge Country Club in Hopkins Friday.
Nick Janzen was swimming during a birthday party when he went under.
Police say officers and medical personnel responded to the country club around 6:30 p.m. and found club employees and members performing CPR on Janzen.
He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Hopkins police and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office are investigating.
