St. Paul Police Investigate Fatal Shooting

A homicide investigation is underway after a St. Paul man died from a gunshot wound overnight.

Police say 21-year-old Marcelis Stafford was brought to Regions Hospital where he died a short time later. They think he was shot around 10 p.m. Saturday on the 300 block of Ruth Street.

Police are investigating what may have led to the shooting, but they do not believe it was random.

So far, no arrests have been made.
